I composed this song to participate in the Producer Royale Contest 2023 by Cymatics. 
The task was to create a new track using their samples and drum loops. 
The sounds included in the packs have been edited and transposed before use. 
The vocals have been processed to create an original melody line and backing vocals. 
This way I was inspired to write a song in the key of F minor 
which combined hip-hop, contemporary RnB and trap influences.
This song is not yet available on digital platforms,
but only at Cymatics website via Soundcloud.

I composed this piece to participate in the third edition
of the Disklavier Composers Contest 2021 by Yamaha Entertainment.
I got the idea for what are now the intro and central parts of the song while I was dreaming.
The original title was 'Learn to Walk Again' 
because when my boyfriend listened to my song for the first time,
he imagined a person who was starting over after facing 
and overcoming some of life's obstacles and challenges.
From this, I thought about LGBTQ people who go through 
a transformation process to become themselves and live a new life.

‘Outside My Love’ was one of the first lyrics 
that I wrote when I was just 12 years old.
The lyrics of the song OML talk about the evolution 
of a love story from its positive beginning 
to its unexpected ending.
The ups and downs of the relationship
are reflected in the vocal dynamics of the melody.
I got inspired by listening to a conversation 
that some classmates were having 
about a TV series they watched.
It was the first song I proposed to Steve
when we decided to work on our original projects.
